The Republican nominee for a southern Illinois congressional seat says he's confident the GOP can win that election for the first time since World War II.  Lumber company executive Jason Plummer told 500 backers during a Fairview Heights fundraiser headlined by House Speaker John Boehner that "this is our year to get it done."  He says the 12th Congressional District has struggled because of "poor public policy," and that he expects a close race with Democrat Bill Enyart.
